VERANDAH AWNING

Verandah Awnings are useful to control the changes in the weather around patio areas and still benefit from the great views, yet stop the sun and the rain from coming in. Awnings can be operated by rope and pulley, cord and reel, or a spring roller.
Cord and Reel Awning roller is fixed within a weather box or brackets, and can be operated by heavy duty rope being pulled around a steel reel to roll up and down. Straps are attached to the bottom and eyelets are fixed into the ground to stop the blind swinging around. A cleat is then positioned on one side to tie off the blind.
Rope and Pulley Fixed at the top by aluminium sail track, this drop blind can be manually rolled up and down using the rope and pulley; the rope loops around a bottom bar on the left and right of the blind and is then attached to a pulley on one side. Zips can also be added to these blinds to stop any movement down the sides and create a snug/room effect.
Springroller Awning roller is fixed within a weather box or brackets, and can be operated up and down by simply pulling on the bottom bar. Because the roller has a spring, the blind is under tension so will roll up once unsecured at the bottom. Stops are attached to either side of where the blind goes so that you can lock it off at the desired level.
Gear Operated Verandah Blinds is another alternative method of winding up large blinds without visible ropes & pulleys and is wound up and down with a crank handle. This method of operation also suits The Elderly making it easier to wind the blind up and down.
